Poor Memory and Confused? You might need Vitamin B3

Firstly, the common forms of synthetic supplemental B3, sold as “natural”, are:

  • Nicotinic Acid (Niacin) is the acid form of Vitamin B3 and can cause unpleasant hot skin rashes.

  • Xanthinol Nicotinate – a synthetic form of the Nicotinic Acid form

  • Niacinamide is the main food form of Vitamin B3 which is as found in dietary sources.

Our preferred form of is Niacinamide, but created within a food complex with food proteins that deliver the vitamin to receptor sites in the body. A good analogy is the address on an envelope – each part of the address is necessary for the proper delivey of the envelope. The same applies with nutrients – they need a full address. Non Food State vitamins and minerals do not have full delivery address and are obviously not so effective

There are many benefits from optimum B3 intake and it is water soluble and needs regular intake to be effective.

Vitamin B3 supports the:

  • Nervous System

  • Metabolism

  • Skin

Nervous System. B3:

  • It helps alleviate Depression

  • B3 deficiency is linked to poor memory and Confusion

  • It improves blood circulation to the Brain and clinical studies have shown improvement for dementia patients

Benefits for our Metabolism Process:

The Metabolism Process relates to the breakdown and preparation of food/nutrients ready for the body’s important enzyme functions

B3 is absolutely essential for the body's production of Energy:

  • B3 is an essential component that creates the compound ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) which facilitates the production of Energy

  • Proper sebum levels help prevent Dry Skin. 77% of people over 64 experience dry skin.

A cautionary note about alcohol and Vitamin B3:

Alcohol causes hangovers adversely reacting with oxygen which creates a nasty substance called Acetaldehyde which is over 25 times more toxic to our cells than alcohol

Acetaldehyde causes:

  • A reduction of our metabolism

  • A reduction in function of our nervous system and can cause panic disorders

  • A deterioration of good skin condition

  • Damage to our cardiovascular system

B3 and Osteoarthritis:

It is an effective treatment for Osteoarthritis and can improve joint flexibility, mobility, and may reduce inflammation

Antioxidant effect:

B3 is a strong antioxidant and helps deactivate harmful free radicals.

Aging process:

Good levels of B3 slow down our aging process and with its important role in energy creation we can keep active in mind and body much longer
