Should We Supplement?

This statement was not made by a famous Nutritionist or Naturopath, but by Dr. Evert Koop, former US Surgeon General. What made this statement famous was the fact that he refused to retract it when requested to do so by medical colleagues and had to resign.

Linus Pauling, 2 times Nobel Prize winner went further in his statement that “You can Trace every sickness, every disease and every ailment to a mineral deficiency”

So if we are happy to accept that at the very least, nutritional deficiency is linked to most human disease, and European farm soils are considered to be almost 80% deplete of essential nutrients, it makes sense that we should supplement. But this is where we need to be very selective because there is no point popping tablets that our bodies don’t recognise, and we have only evolved to absorb, use and retain food nutrients. 98% of so-called “natural” supplements are manufactured from the same manufactured synthetic chemicals, and nutrients never appear in live food in this form.

 

So in summary, yes we should supplement for the sake of our health, but only with Food (Foodstate) supplements
