Why are Foodstate Antioxidants so important to our health?

I’m sure that the idea of maintaining a robust immune system isn’t new to you. But let’s look at a couple of ways to keep the body free from nasty toxins, which as it happens, is relevant to a strong immune system anyway!

Antioxidants are the group of nutrients that protect our cells from free radical damage. Free radical damage is the destruction of healthy cells that leads to disease.

Consuming foods with high antioxidant qualities is linked to a decrease in cancer and heart disease, and these antioxidants also help to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s. In fact, healthy ‘live’ foods like fruit, vegetables nuts and pulses are associated with a decrease in risk of most chronic diseases. Eliminate refined sugar and sweeteners from your diet too – they’re bad. Really bad!

Supplements
Supplements are a very good option here too. But be wary. Antioxidants in synthetic supplements are fundamentally different to antioxidants in foods and Foodstate supplements. In addition, taking more of these chemical supplements is not a solution to achieving better results.
