Unhealthy Gut = Poor Health

Some simple steps to improve your Digestion:


- The gut comprises the small intestines and the large intestines.

- The Small Intestine is about 6.5m long and is a primary section of our digestive system and many nutrients enter our blood stream here. Hundreds of species of friendly bacteria called Lactobacillus reside here and our digestive process does not function properly without sufficient levels

- The Large Intestine is where many nutrients and most fibre and liquids are absorbed. Another friendly bacteria, Bifidobacteria, is resident here

- These friendly bacteria enhance the health of the digestive process and to facilitate the production of additional nutrients that help support the immune system. An insufficient amount of friendly bacteria we can cause an overgrowth of detrimental candida albicans that disrupt nutrient absorption and allows unpleasant allergens to enter our blood stream


It is estimated that of those consuming a “western diet” about one third experiences candida overgrowth resulting in a lower absorption of nutrients. The following are recommended:
